General information for grades 7 and 8.

Study Guides for each lesson consisting of 15-20 questions are given to students each Tuesday and are to be completed by Thursday.  These guides help students to study for quizzes and tests.  Before they begin the guides students are asked to read the questions, then the chapter, then answer the questions.  Activities from each chapter are assigned either as group work or as homework.  A quiz and a test are given once a week. Students are able to use the web sight www.weliveourfaith.com to review the lesson. 

Grade 7

We Live our Faith As Disciples of Jesus, is our Religion book for grade 7.  It centers on Jesus' life, His teachings, and the sacraments He instituted. 

Grade 8

Activity due Friday April 30:

With your group, choose one of the qualities of an effective evangelizer.  Prepare a skit to demonstrate ways that living out this quality might affect others.

We Live Our Faith as Members of the Church, is the Religion book used in Grade 8.  The curriculum presents the Church from her beginning at the Pentecost event through her history, her traditions and teachings.

A variety of class as well as homework assignments will be given.  Students will be given advance notice when a quiz or test will be given,
