SMART Tuition Assistance Information for 2010-2011
Students entering Kindergarten thru 8th grade are eligible to apply for aid. Students in Pre-K are not eligible.
The deadline for application is December 31st, 2009.
You can apply online at www.smarttuitionaid.com
Use the School Code ID Number 10043 for each dependent who attends St. Joseph Regional.
Special code information means using P for Parishioners and NP to signify Non Parishioner.
Application fees
Required Processing Fee: $0.00
Corporation/Partnership Processing Fee: $19.00 You are required to pay this fee if you have filed any of the following IRS forms: 1041, 1065, 1120-A, 1120, or 1120S.
Parent Report Fee (Optional): $8.00 This report allows parents to review the accuracy of the information SMART Tuition Aid has taken form the application and its status. The report can be viewed online once the application is audited. However, this report does not display the amount of assistance to be received from the school.
Preparing the Application:
Required copies of all supporting documentation requested below (Do NOT send originals).
· Most recent pay stubs and W2 statements
· Most recent federal tax form 1040 or 1040Amost recent business tax return (if applicable)
· Documentation of all other sources of income (social security, welfare, food stamps, unemployment, child support, workers compensation etc)
· All 1099 forms (if applicable)

Notice of Financial Aid:
Once the application is processed, a tuition aid recommendation is forwarded to the school.
All final tuition aid decisions including notification is made by the school.
