My name is Jane Liguori and I have been teaching at St. Joseph for 40 years. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in education from Long Island University. I am certified for grades K-8 in the state of New Jersey. In 2008 I received the Bishop's Medal for Meritorious Service to the Church of Camden. I also was the director of our Spring Program from 1990 to 2013.
Teaching Style/Philosophy/Interesting Things I Do In the Classroom
I feel it is necessary for my students to be able to communicate their ideas verbally as well as in written form. I offer my students various opportunities to express themselves and demonstrate their knowledge. I incorporate creative ideas to enhance understanding and to help make learning fun.
What I Like Most About St. Joseph Regional School
I enjoy being a part of the St. Joseph family. The faculty, staff, and administration have always been very supportive. We are members of a great team, who work for the good of our children
Why I Would Recommend St. Joseph Regional School
I would recommend St. Joseph School not only as a teacher, but also as a parent. My son also attended our school. I taught him in fourth grade. Many of my former students have sent their children here too. It's a family of which I am happy to be a part of.
Interests Outside of Teaching/Personal Life
In my free time I enjoy gardening, and spending time with my family.
